Anyone who experienced the 1960S knows it was a time of great upheaval in many ways, from many differing perspectives. It is now five decades later and when young people look back at what they think was a terrible America, some of us look at today and ask what happened to morality or even decency, and religion.

God provides true knowledge of Himself, not organized religions that seek their own worship rather than that of God. Consistently, God's work refers to His calling His children, and that divine call is to salvation as God's choice alone. It is God's glory and excellence alone that saves without any participation by sinful creatures, that all people are.

The option to disobey God's callling to be holy as He is holy does not exist ...like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written, “YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY.” (1 Peter 1:14-15)

If we convey the truth accurately, when people read and accept what we say, they are blessed, God is pleased, and even though the writer may not know it in this life, they will hear, 'Well done' in the next life, and that is why we write.

As Roy Hession once wrote, "Revival is the life of the Lord Jesus Christ poured into human hearts."

The goal is a godly character that produces godly conduct, and a prayer life that grows and results in more godly character and conduct.
