GOD'S CORRUPTED WORLD

Today I was looking at a very large sink with a very powerful faucet. The water came forth to fill it, and when it did, its force made a very large circle as the rest of the sink was filling with very clear water. In time, the circle with no water grew smaller and smaller as I watched very tiny droplets fly off the forceful water flow. Eventually, as the water grew larger and larger, the circle of no water disappeared, leaving only a body of water. I imagine that tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of droplets of water were gathered together to become one body of water. It was no longer separate and distinct droplets of water but one body in which the individual parts were indistinguishable. What would happen if the 8.3 billion people of the world were placed in a single city?
GOD'S CORRUPTED WORLD AT FIRST
When God created the world, He made man from it and told us, "God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. "God blessed them; and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth." (Genesis 1:28) Man, by creation, was made to rule in God's place, not to replace God but to rule as He would. However, man must first be tempted to see how he would behave. The scenario, as I just stated, is for our learning, not God's, who knows the end from the beginning and is sovereign over it all. Would man place himself first, for his benefit, or represent God out of gratitude for being created, or believe a spirit being far more intelligent than himself who spoke through an instinctive animal far inferior to man? Two-thirds of the angels remained loyal to the eternal God who created them. One-third rebelled, were corrupted, and became only evil. The angels beheld the glory of God as man had never had. Satan entered the garden, and, as far as the narrative states, he went unnoticed, as he and his fellow demons have done throughout all of human history. Satan is corrupt and seeks to corrupt everything for his benefit, seeking to replace God. He told his lies, and Eve and Adam bought into his corruption.
GOD'S CORRUPTED WORLD THROUGHOUT HISTORY
At least 108 million people were killed in wars in the twentieth century. Estimates for the total number killed in wars throughout all of human history range from 150 million to 1 billion as of Jul 6, 2003. The figures set before us by Google are deaths through wars; they do not include murders for a multitude of other reasons. Those people who consider the tissue, blood, muscles, brain cells, etc., parts of a human being as a human being in the womb of their mother, then, as of the writing of this post, worldwide, there have been 1 billion 807 million 294 thousand people killed just in that way, since 1980, that we know of.
Thinking back to the story by which I began this post, the world in which we live, with all its bloodshed, hatred, selfishness, unrighteous judgments, etc., is anything but what God had intended. The good news, and I do mean Good News as in the Gospel, is that God is and will continue to gather together a people, a remnant, of chosen, adopted, born-again, regenerate children made immortal and incorruptible by reason of God's grace, forgiveness, and their God-given repentance and faith. God's people will be many but one body throughout eternity.
GOD'S CORRUPTED WORL.D MADE INCORRUPTIBLE
1 Corinthians 12:20, "But now there are many members, but one body."
Romans 12:4-5, "For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ..."
Romans 3:6, "the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel..."
Ephesians 2:15-16, "in Himself He might make the two into one new man, thus establishing peace, and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by it having put to death the enmity."
Ephesians 4:4-6, "There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all."
My dear reader, if God has made you a member of His body, are you one mind with Him concerning the gathering of believers? Is God pleased with His body if there is division of any kind? If the answer is no, how do you feel about Protestant denominations; how about people who seem to be very astute about their faith and those who seem to lag behind, and neither you nor they understand why; how should they be treated?
1 Corinthians 12:24-25, "God has so composed the body, giving more abundant honor to that member which lacked, so that there may be no division in the body..."
Do you understand that God's corrupted world here and now will be transformed through the metamorphosis of a chosen people remade into incorruptible children of God?
If this post has blessed you, please pass it forward to others.
