God became a man in the person of Jesus Christ, and He did so to be our example of how we should live our lives. Jesus is God, He has always been God, and so He will always be. These are revelations given to us from His holy word, the Bible. Today I want to share a present testimony so you can know where I am in my Christian walk and pray for me.

My Prayer Requests for You All

I pray for all of you, even those whom I do not know personally. How do I do that? When I pray for the people I know, I tag on the end of my prayer, and all those like them all over the world. It does not matter how many people we do not know; God has every hair numbered for every person in the world. God hears our prayers and delights to move in the lives of all people, especially believers.

My Prayer Requests in Testimony

My life has been full of full stops. By full stops I mean, God has stopped me, spoken to my heart and distinguished Himself from the voice of the devil. I have been reproved for listening to Satan or some demon, and by that reproof I have distinguished God's voice and because it was consistant with the word of Scripture. Early on, I was reproved quite extensively over the sin of pride. I learned brokenness from the book The Calvary Road and I have sought to put its truths into practice. Over the years with each and every time I was broken, God's light became a little brighter thereby I noticed the previous darkness. Now in my old age, I have become aware once again of the corruptions that surround me. At one time I became angry when I realized the many lies surrounding the Roman Catholic "Church." My anger got to the point that I had to repent of it, and humble myself as I am not the supreme judge. Numeros times this has happened, for example "The Seeker Sensitive Movement." Eventually, even Protestantism has been corrupted far more than many Christians would be willing to admit. My prayer requests are many for those attending Protestant church to awake to the damage being done by becoming a stumbling block to those lost in their sins.

My Prayer Requests For My Life's Purpose

Scripture teaches us that we all have a life purpose, as we are made in the image of God in all we are and all we do, and how we are to do it. There are also particular ways and purposes, as God does not use a template for all; we are all individuals, as sure as we are one human race. I now believe with all my heart that one of God's main purposes for my life was to write THE JESUS YOU NEED TO KNOW. Like everything else in our lives, the extent of His using it is up to Him. There is no doubt in my mind that if there is a single main purpose for my existence, it is the book that I am now writing. I can't emphasize enough how important my prayer requests are for this endeavor.

My Prayer Requests For My Podcast and Future Book

We all have a Divine purpose for our lives. As believers, it begins with being made in the image of God's Son. We are all called to "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you;" (Matthew 28:19). Please pray during the upcoming year, I would see the planting of a home church in my house. During the 70s we experienced a small revival of sorts, even in the 90s when trying out a "seeker sensitive church." The disaster that turned out to be, I reached out to the drug culture that was well underway by leading a drug awareness program in the High Schools, and sought to disciple many people. Then, with CHBC, God blessed me with many to disciple. I am encouraged by the writing of THE JESUS YOU NEED TO KNOW and numerous good word responses. I may not know in this life the ways God chooses to use it.

The reason for the video podcast is to set up a platform to disciple people I might never otherwise meet, and to help many hear about the book I have been working on for probably a year and a half now. If there is one main reason for my life more than all others, it is this present book. I always enjoyed a healthy prayer life, spending time with the One who loves me more than all others, and growing in the knowledge of Him, and drawing ever closer to Him. In the past, my prayer times were more structured than they are now. My time with Him still includes praise, worship, confession, intercession, thankfulness, but now much more. I am led to read and gain an understanding of many things that I could never properly explain before. Now the purpose has shifted to hearing in much greater detail the condition of things and why they are the way they are. Before, so much was explained as a mystery, but the fog is lifting, and now, so many times, things happen that cannot be a coincidence; the hand of God is directing me, enlarging my awareness, and shedding more light than ever.
