SATAN TWISTS THE TRUTH

My dear readers, have you figured out how it is that, after destroying all but eight people, the next generation, after hearing of the catastrophe from their parents who lived through it, decided to become obstinate, stay where they were, rather than fill the earth, and instead make a name for themselves? Furthermore, after God started a new nation through Father Abraham, He delivered them from the land of slavery, gave them the law and the sacrificial system that pointed the way to their salvation, but decided to worship false gods. They appointed a man as king over them instead of the one true God, and after 1,500 years of promises to restore them through the Messiah, they instead had that Messiah nailed to a piece of wood.

Have you figured out how it is that after the Apostles finished writing the greatest book ever written by the inspiration of God Himself, the "Church" within 300 years began to burn people to death who dared to disagree with their corrupt teaching? Lastly, how is it that after the Reformation recovered the Gospel that had been lost, endless divisions occurred. The understanding of leadership is that everyone has a right to their opinion, and worse, their interpretation as if they wrote the book. In this post, I'll state the cause.

The reality of life on earth is this. Nothing has ever changed since the fall of our first parents, Adam and Eve. Satan and his cruel and vicious army of demons have one goal, and that is to prove God is unjust, unrighteous, and unfit to rule. Furthermore, since Adam and Eve gave birth to a race of sinners and only sinners, then apart from a rebirth, Satan's kingdom will continue to corrupt that which God creates. Satan corrupts what is good by twisting the truth.

SATAN BEGAN TWISTING THE TRUTH AMONG THE INNOCENT

The last verse of Genesis 2 and verse 25 says, "And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed." Following the naivity of Adam and Even in their goodness and innocence. has followed gnerations of their children who turn their backs on their conscience, the words of people who call upon the name of the Lord for salvation, and God's law once it was given so as to be filthy, immoral, and corrupted by every evil desire inherited from their father the devil.

SATAN TWISTS THE TRUTH BY ACCUSING

"HAS GOD SAID YOU SHALL NOT EAT FROM ANY TREE IN THE GARDEN"

No! He said you shall eat from every tree but one, a little difference there. Unfortunately, Eve got the words in her head twisted, and even though Adam warned her, because she wasn't there when God told Adam. However, she knew not to eat from the tree of knowledge; nevertheless, the thought was planted, and with a little more encouragement, she fell and led her husband to do the same. "From the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat;" (Genesis 3:2)

The great irony is that God's plan for the recipients of grace is this: "We have received an inheritance." (Ephesians 1:11) This is no ordinary inheritance. "He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?" (Romans 8:32) Satan is such a liar!

SATAN TWISTS THE TRUTH WITH A BOLD FACE LIE

"YOU SURELY WILL NOT DIE"

Paul when writing to the church in Colosse reminded them, "When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions," (Colossians 2:13) Furthermore, "the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality." (1Corinthians 15:52-53) Unlike our innocent first parents, we are under the light of Christianity, sin in full knowledge of His saving grace, His ever-avenging wrath upon those who refuse, reject, and rebuke His only begotten Son and atoning sacrifice.

SATAN TWISTS THE TRUTH EVEN WHEN HE TELLS THE TRUTH

"YOU SHALL BE LIKE GOD"

Just one litle problem with what Satan had to say, knowing good and doing evil is no good!

A little problem with Satan's lie, they immediately didn't act like God because He neither hides Himself nor is He afraid of anything. "The man and his wife hid themselves" (Verse 8). "I was afraid" (Verse 10). Nevertheless, God has always had great plans for the elect, the chosen, the blessed who by His grace choose His Son. "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit." "But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, ...and to the spirits of [the] righteous made perfect..." (2 Corinthians 3:18; Hebrews 12:22-23)

My dear readers, the one way of avoiding all this filthy, Satanic corruption is to take to heart God's holy word with a spirit that refuses to compromise by the power of His Holy Spirit about anything and everything God has said. Compromise if you will, but corruption is poised at the door.
